Thatcher turned 2 on November 4th. We had a fun party that next weekend, but I haven't been able to post because my computer got a stupid virus!
Anyway, thanks to Kenda for taking some cute pics! There are many more...but I won't bore you with too many pics of my favorite toddler!!

Thatcher was not too excited about helping Daddy clean out the pumpkin. He just kept saying, "eewwww, yucky." But, he was pretty happy with the finished product. He kept wanting to "push the button." We tried to explain that this one doesn't have a button, we have to light a candle...he just didn't get it. Either way, he thought it was "pooky."
This is his parrot costume. I didn't get a family pic (he as a parrot, us as pirates) but I know my mom and Pat's mom did. I will try to get a copy. He thought he looked pretty cute. (the pink wings behind him in that last pic are not from his costume...it was a little girl standing behind him.)
My favorite story from Halloween:
We went to see the Harlans. After Thatcher took all the candy he could from Beth, he decided to check out their house. While inside, he decided to take one of Beth's potatoes, also. She, of course, let him have it. So...his bucket was a little heavier for the rest of the night, but he didn't seem to care.
I guess we make him a baked potato???

Thatcher pooped in the potty on Wednesday. He was excited, proud and confused. On Thursday I gave him a bath, and asked if he wanted to go tee tee in the potty first. He agreed. Then, when he saw the empty potty he said, "My poop! Where'd it go??"
Pottying is hard stuff....
Just a quick note to let you know that Thatcher tee tee'd in the potty 2 days ago. Pat and I are so proud of him. (yep, officially a mom if I am proud of potty time.) He was sitting on his potty while his daddy and I were talking. We looked down to see him right as he said, "I TEE TEE!!!"
Good job, buddy. One step closer to no diapers!
We went to the fair this past weekend. Thatcher LOVED it. He rode on 3 different rides, but he would have gone on all of them. He is already braver than his uncle Hays. 
He doesn't look like he is having fun, but he loved it. Pat and I laughed...we are pretty sure he thought he was driving this truck.
And the REAL reason for going to the fair.....
We saw the bear show on the way out. How does a bear go? grrrrrrr
